Alexis graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Science and received her master’s degree in medical science from Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant program. Upon graduation, she went on to complete a fellowship in cosmetic and medical dermatology at MDCS in New York City. She has dedicated her career to aesthetic medicine and continues to attend advanced aesthetic courses to ensure highest quality of care for her patients. In 2023 Alexis began training and educating her peers in advanced filler, laser, and neuromodulator techniques, all while continuing to provide exceptional, individually tailored care to her patients. She takes pride in having “the eye” for natural looking aesthetics and her ability to create long lasting relationships with clients.
Jessica Dunleavy
Medical Esthetician, Laser and Coolsculpting Professional (Coolsculpting University)
Jessica has been with Bella Tu Med Spa for 8 years. She started in administration when she soon found her calling – becoming a licensed aesthetician. Jessica attended New York School of Esthetics in the evening and graduated in the top of her class. We are so happy to have Jessica taking care of clients with facials, peels and micro-needling. In addition to skin care, Jessica attended CoolSculpting University in Virginia which is an added plus as to why our clients have very positive outcomes from their treatment. Jess has a calming presence and gentle touch which ensure that clients have relaxing and stress-free treatments.
In her spare time, Jessica loves spending time at her lake house with her husband and children, boating, reading and relaxing with a nice glass of wine, looking out over the water.
Kim McGarry
Director
Kim’s professional working experience began in advertising, followed by working in law firms for close to 20 years. Kim says her real love was always in the cosmetic industry so she attended classes at Parsons Institute in NYC and fortunately for her, medical spas were just beginning to become popular around the time that she moved to Rockland County in 2003. Kim started out as the spa coordinator and with all the experience she learned over the years she is now the Director of Bella Tu Med Spa.
In her spare time, she says that she loves getting out of the neighborhood with her husband and going on road-trips, being outdoors, entertaining, and spending quality time with friends, family and three crazy dogs.
Nellie Fortunato
Spa Coordinator, CoolSculpting Professional and Social Media Coordinator
Nellie is a former Italian Teacher and started working in the beauty enhancement field 8 years ago. As a graduate of CoolSculpting University, Nellie can assure her clients the best possible results coupled with a calming and comfortable experience. She takes pride in her work and enjoys meeting our wonderful clients. Her goal is to ensure that they have a pleasurable experience each and every time they visit Bella Tu.
Nellie loves travelling, especially to Italy where many family members reside. Her passions include music, skincare, family and dancing. Nellie currently holds a brown belt in mixed martial arts.
Michelle Abramov
Injector, Physician’s Assistant
A graduate of St. John’s University’s accelerated PA program, Michelle has focused her career entirely on medical aesthetics. She blends her proficiency in anatomy with the art of aesthetic treatments to elevate and enhance natural beauty. Whether clients seek subtle refinements or more transformative changes, Michelle aims to deliver natural results that help them feel radiant from within. Committed to ongoing education, she stays current with the latest techniques to provide safe and effective care. Michelle is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to help clients feel confident and empowered in their skin.
Lisa Dunn
Medical Esthetician
Lisa comes to Bella Tu with close to 18 years of Medical Aesthetic experience. After graduating from Pace University, Lisa spent 10 years in the field of Interior Design. It was during that time of making spaces beautiful that she realized she had another passion – making faces beautiful. Lisa loves helping her clients feel and look their best through skin care, facials and micro-needling. She is certified in CoolSculpting and Lasers. Lisa also has an interest in Real Estate and invests back in her community by purchasing and renovating homes with her husband and dog! Lisa loves to explore the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley and loves to garden, a passion she inherited from her Mom!
