On the first day, cleanse your face gently with cool water and your fingertips and pat your skin dry. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer that will support the skin’s barrier as it heals. Wait at least 24 hours before starting your makeup routine again to let the microchannels close.

Avoid heat for the first day or two, including hot showers, saunas, intense exercise or anything that makes you sweat heavily. Daily sunscreen should be part of your routine during this time to avoid damaging your sensitive, post-treatment skin. By the second or third day, any redness should be gone, though your skin may feel dry and flake a little as the surface renews.
