What Is Facial Balancing With Lift Lab? 

Because of factors like loss of collagen and shifting fat pads, aging often happens in multiple areas of the face at the same time. The bone and fat under the cheeks can shrink and make them look more hollow, while the lines around the mouth deepen, lips lose volume and the jawline loses its distinct lines. DiamondGlow®

DiamondGlow uses a diamond-tipped wand that exfoliates the top layer of skin and vacuums out dead cells and debris. At the same time, it pushes a treatment serum into the fresh skin, so it cleans and feeds the skin in one step. It has no downtime and is often chosen before an event for an immediate glow.

Hydrafacial™ 

Hydrafacial works with a spiral tip and gentle suction that cleanses, exfoliates and draws out the contents of clogged pores while delivering hydrating serums. Because it pulls out buildup and adds moisture at once, skin looks healthier and clearer right after the visit with no recovery time. It suits most skin types and is a good starting point for anyone new to skin treatments.

Laser Genesis

Laser Genesis passes gentle heat into the deeper layer of the skin to prompt it to make new collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm. Over a series of sessions, this softens redness and refines rough texture, and it can make pores look smaller. There is no downtime, so you can return to normal activity the same day.

Cool Peel

Cool Peel is a CO2 laser treatment that removes a very thin layer of the skin’s surface while keeping the heat low to provide similar resurfacing benefits compared to a traditional CO2 laser with far less downtime. It targets fine lines, wrinkles, uneven tone and sun damage. Most people have a few days of mild redness rather than the longer recovery of a CO2 laser.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Every Lift Lab plan starts with a consultation where a provider reviews your medical history and looks at your face both at rest and while you move and make expressions. When it is time to place the filler, we use a fine needle or a blunt-tipped cannula with techniques that are designed to limit bruising and swelling and make the treatment as comfortable as possible. JUVÉDERM products also contain lidocaine, which numbs the area and lowers discomfort during injection.  A full package will be completed in one or two visits, depending on how much filler is involved. If you do have any bruising or swelling, you can expect it to settle within a few days to a week, and you can help the areas heal by limiting heat and exercise for several days. The initial volume can be seen right away, but it can take a couple of weeks to settle into its final shape.

FAQs

How long will my filler results last?

Cheek and jawline filler often lasts a year or more, while lip filler usually lasts closer to six to twelve months because the constant movement of the mouth breaks the filler down faster. How long your results hold also depends on the product used, the amount placed and how quickly your body processes hyaluronic acid.

Can I space out the treatment?

A full package can be delivered across more than one appointment, which some patients prefer so swelling can settle in one area before the next is treated. Splitting the visits also lets you see how each area looks before moving on.

Am I a good candidate?

Most healthy adults who want more volume or definition are candidates, though the provider will review your medical history and any past filler at your consultation to confirm. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain skin infections and some allergies can be reasons to wait or try a different treatment.

Will I look overdone?

We only use the amount of filler that will refresh your skin and provide facial balance while still looking natural. Volume is built gradually, and we base the results on your aesthetic preferences. The filler keeps settling for about two weeks, and swelling can give the area more volume at first, but results will settle into the final look after this time.
